As the owner of a Homewatch CareGivers agency serving East Cobb, Marietta, Kennesaw,
(Cobb County), and all of Paulding County, I have the privilege of helping Veterans, seniors,
individuals with disabilities and their families navigate some of life’s most important
moments.

Every day, we meet families who are trying to balance work, children, care giving
responsibilities, and the emotional stress that often comes with aging or illness.
Caring for another can be daunting and exhausting. Selecting the right CareGivers can make all the difference in the health and happiness of your loved one and your home.
Our mission is simple: provide compassionate, dependable care that allows people to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most — home.
Home care is about so much more than helping with tasks. It is about preserving dignity,
creating meaningful relationships, and bringing peace of mind to families who want the
very best for their loved ones. Whether someone needs a few hours of companionship each
week or more advanced support after a hospital stay, our team is committed to meeting
clients where they are and helping them maintain the highest quality of life possible.
Serving Families Across Cobb and Paulding County
Every community has unique needs, and we understand the importance of having a local
team that knows the area, understands available resources, and can respond quickly when
families need support.
Many of our clients want to continue enjoying the communities they have built their lives in.
They want to stay close to neighbors, attend church, visit local parks, spend time with
grandchildren, and continue the routines that make them feel comfortable and secure.
Home care helps make that possible.
Our caregivers provide support that allows seniors to age in place safely while still
maintaining independence and connection to the community they love.
Companion Care and Daily Support
One of the most valuable services we provide is companion care. Loneliness and isolation
can have a major impact on a senior’s emotional and physical health. Having someone to
talk to, share meals with, or accompany them on errands can make an incredible difference.
Our caregivers assist with:
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and linen changes
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments
• Medication reminders
• Social engagement and companionship
• Safety supervision
Sometimes families call us because Mom has stopped cooking regularly, Dad is forgetting
medications, or a loved one simply seems withdrawn after losing a spouse. Other times,
adult children live out of state and need reassurance that someone is checking in regularly.
We become an extension of the family, providing both practical assistance and emotional
support.
Personal Care Services
As care needs increase, many seniors require help with personal care activities. These tasks
can feel overwhelming or even embarrassing for families to manage alone, but our trained
caregivers provide assistance with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
Personal care services may include:
• Bathing and shower assistance
• Dressing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Fall prevention and safety monitoring
• Assistance with walking and exercise routines
Our goal is always to help clients maintain as much independence as possible while
ensuring safety and comfort. Even small amounts of support can greatly reduce fall risks
and improve confidence at home.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s Support
Families caring for loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease often experience
significant stress and exhaustion. Memory loss can create confusion, anxiety, wandering
behaviors, sleep disturbances, and challenges with daily routines. Caregivers themselves
frequently feel isolated and overwhelmed.
At Homewatch CareGivers, we understand the importance of specialized dementia support.
Our caregivers are trained to provide patient, calm, and structured care while helping
clients maintain routines and dignity. We focus on meaningful engagement, consistency,
redirection techniques, and creating a safe environment.
We also recognize that dementia care involves supporting the entire family. Education,
communication, and caregiver relief are all essential parts of quality memory care.
Skilled Care Services
In addition to non-medical home care, we are proud to offer skilled care services to support
clients with more advanced medical needs. Skilled care bridges the gap between hospital,
rehabilitation, and home, helping clients recover safely while reducing the risk of
readmission.
Skilled care services may include:
• Nursing assessments
• Medication management
• Wound care
• Chronic disease management
• Post-surgical support
• Monitoring vital signs and health conditions
• Coordination with physicians and healthcare providers
Many families are surprised to learn that skilled care can often be provided in the comfort of
home. This allows clients to recover in a familiar environment while receiving professional
oversight and personalized attention.
Supporting Our Veterans
We are especially honored to support veterans and their families.
Veterans have sacrificed so much for our country, and many are unaware that they may
qualify for home care benefits through the VA. Navigating these programs can feel confusing
and overwhelming, but our team is here to help guide families through the process.
Many veterans need assistance with daily living activities, companionship, transportation,
memory care support, or recovery after illness and hospitalization. Our caregivers are
proud to provide compassionate care that allows veterans to remain safe and independent
at home while maintaining the dignity and respect they deserve.
A Commitment to Exceptional Care
Choosing a home care provider is one of the most important decisions a family can make.
We do not take that responsibility lightly. Our team is committed to professionalism,
compassion, communication, and reliability. We believe care should feel personal, not
transactional.
Every client has a unique story, and every care plan should reflect that. We take the time to
truly understand each individual’s preferences, routines, personality, and goals. Whether
we are providing companionship, personal care, dementia support, skilled nursing services,
or veteran support, our focus is always on improving quality of life and helping families feel
supported every step of the way.
